Terms and Conditions

By purchasing a Blue Box Industries, Inc. product or service, you agree to the rules and regulations below. No refunds are given due to an early pick up of a dumpster.

  1. Waste Material
    Customer represents and warrants that the materials placed in our dumpsters (containers) shall be “waste material” as defined herein and shall contain no other substances. The term “waste material” as used in these Terms & Conditions, shall mean solid waste in the form of construction debris generated by the customer, including: Lumber, Drywall, Cabinets, Siding and other miscellaneous Wood/Plastic construction materials. The term “waste material” shall exclude: Radioactive Materials, Highly Flammable Materials, Hazardous Materials, Volatile Materials, Biomedical Materials, Toxic Materials, Explosive Materials and/or Infectious Materials.

    The term “Hazardous Material” shall include, but not be limited to, any amount of waste listed or characterized as hazardous by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, or any state agency pursuant to the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976, as amended or applicable by law. Liability for any waste materials, including the excluded materials listed above, shall remain with the customer and customer expressly agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless, Blue Box Industries, Inc., any of its affiliates and/or subsidiaries and the service provider from and against any and all damages, penalties, fines and liabilities resulting from or arising out of such waste materials, including the excluded materials listed above.

    Other specific prohibited items include, but are not limited to: Liquids, Batteries, Propane Tanks, Household Garbage, Solvents, Paint Cans (unless empty and dry), Asbestos, Chemicals, Lead Paint Materials, Equipment Containing Gas or Oil, Freon™, Medical Waste, Biohazards and/or Dirt, Soil, Rock and Concrete.

    Restrictions and additional fees may apply to Tires and Stumps.

  2. Charges and Capacity
    Maximum tonnage included in the service agreement is listed under weight limit. Any excess in tonnage is charged at fees listed or stated. Tonnage is rounded up to one quarter (1/4) ton. Be it known that the weight of the delivery truck and empty/full equipment is substantial. Any additional charges for excess tonnage and/or prohibited or restricted materials may result in additional fees and will be automatically charged to your credit or debit card. In the event additional charges are incurred, such charges may appear on a subsequent bank or credit card statement from the original charge.
  3. Equipment Care
    The equipment delivered to the customer is the property of Blue Box Industries, Inc. and therefore the customer will take reasonable care of it. Any damage, movement, loss, etc. will be charged to the customer. All claims arising out of improper use or allowed access by the customer will be their sole responsibility for damages, injuries, wrongful death, suits, penalties and fines that arise. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the equipment is secure until it is picked up. Leaving a site unattended does not excuse liability or charges for contamination or overages.
  4. Cancellations
    Cancellations made on the scheduled delivery date will be subject to a $75 cancellation fee.
  5. Attempted Deliveries and/or Pick Ups
    Delivery and/or removal of the dumpster is at the discretion of the hauler and is based on safety and accessibility. If a hauler is unable to make a delivery and/or removal due to safety and/or lack of accessibility, customer will be charged a $75 attempted delivery/removal charge per occurrence.
  6. Extended Time
    Customer understands the dumpster can be kept longer than 7 days depending on availability for a charge of $10 per day.
  7. Driveways and Parking Areas
    Customer warrants that any access/location provided for Blue Box Industries' equipment is sufficient to bear the weight of all equipment and vehicles required to perform the service. Blue Box Industries shall not be responsible for damage to any pavement or accompanying sub-surface or any route reasonable necessary to perform the services herein contracted. In addition, Blue Box Industries shall not be responsible for damages to pavement, utilities, property, lawns, fences, and shrubbery or other like exterior items.
  8. Refunds
    All refund requests must occur within 30 days of service completion. Any refunds issued will be at the sole discretion of Blue Box Industries, Inc.
  9. Reasonable Control
    Blue Box Industries and its contractors warrant that they will make every effort to deliver and pick up as directed under contract. They are not liable for forces of nature, strikes, laws, inhibited access, etc. that are beyond their control.
